How it works
A 7-day sealed-bid auction
with a final-hour sprint.
Rapideal is a UK property auction built for situations where the traditional market won't move a property. Sellers list in minutes. Buyers compete across four financial types. The last hour is a live sprint.
The three stages.
From listing to completion in three structured steps. Each step is enforced by the platform, not by trust.
-
01
List
A seller creates a listing with an address, a description, and the property-type tags a buyer would search on. No subscription, no upfront fees, no approval queue.

02
Bid
Registered buyers place a sealed bid on one or more of the four financial types: cash, vendor finance, bridging, or joint venture. The seller sees the bids ranked by financial type, not just by price. In the last hour, bid amounts become visible to bidders in real time while identities stay hidden.

03
Accept
The seller picks the offer they're most likely to complete. On acceptance, the seller pays a £500 refundable deposit, held by Rapideal. Solicitors are notified and complete the off-platform sale. Buyers pay a 1.5% completion fee only on the accepted offer.

What's different about the final-hour sprint
Most auctions
Hide bid amounts throughout, on the theory that late bids get punished.
Rapideal
Bid amounts become visible in the last hour so buyers can raise real offers against real competition. Identities stay hidden the entire time. Late entries are labelled so the seller sees "Late Entry 1" — never buyer names.
The auction ends hard at the deadline. No extensions. The seller picks the offer they're most likely to complete.
